Introduction is collaborating with a group of digital activists based in Thailand to create an online toolkit for grassroots political activists. The goal is to introduce political activists to new digital tools (blogs, wikis, podcasting, etc.) that can help them achieve their political goals cheaply an effectively. An example of how digital tools have been used for political activism can be found in this post about the Free Alaa campaign. Although currently in the development stage, you can participate by contributing to the brainstorming wiki.

Key Questions:

  • Should it focus on tools themselves or should it share case studies?
  • Should the tools be simple, for activists new to technology, or more sophisticated, for activists with some tech experience or a mixture of both?
  • What is the best template?
